Subject

This Cookies Policy constitutes information provided, pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (hereinafter also the “Regulation”), and pursuant to the provision of the Guarantor for the protection of personal data, entitled “Identification of the simplified procedures for the provision of information and the acquisition of consent for the use of cookies – 8 May 2014

(Published in the Official Gazette No. 126 of 3 June 2014)”, and subsequent amendments and additions.

Cookies

What are cookies?: Cookies are small text files that sites visited by users send to their terminals, where they are stored in order to be retransmitted to the same sites the next time they visit. Third-party cookies, on the other hand, are set by a website other than the one the user is visiting. This is because on each site there may be elements (images, maps, sounds, specific links to web pages of other domains, etc.) that reside on servers other than that of the site visited.

What are cookies used for?: Cookies are used for different purposes: performing computer authentication, monitoring sessions, storing information on specific configurations concerning users accessing the server, storing preferences, etc.

What are ‘technical’ cookies? These are cookies that serve to carry out navigation or provide a service requested by the user. They are not used for any other purpose and are normally installed directly by the website owner. Without the use of such cookies, certain operations could not be carried out or would be more complex and/or less secure, such as home banking activities (viewing account statements, bank transfers, paying bills, etc.), for which cookies, which allow the user’s identification to be made and maintained during the session, are indispensable.

The cookies of this portal

The Portal does NOT use profiling cookies, i.e. cookies used to track the user’s web browsing and create profiles on their tastes, habits, choices, etc.. nor analytical cookies for analysing statistical data.

The Portal uses only technical cookies, art. 122, paragraph 1, of the Privacy Code, for the sole purpose of improving and simplifying the user’s visit. They are not used for any further purposes and above all are not used to disclose this information to third parties. In particular, the portal, as technical cookies, uses

– navigation or session cookies, which ensure normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, authentication to access restricted areas). There are two types of cookies: permanent and temporary (session cookies). Permanent cookies are stored as files on the user’s system or mobile device for no longer than 12 months. Session cookies are stored temporarily and disappear when the browser session is closed.

The Site itself does not use analytics cookies, but does make use of Google Analytics for the anonymous collection of statistical data on country of origin, language, operating system, etc.

It is also clarified that the browsers used to access the Site usually use technical, navigation or session, analytics and functionality cookies. The use of c.d. cookies is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow the safe and efficient exploration of the Site and used for statistical purposes for the detection of monthly unique visitors. The cookie can be deleted by the surfer using the functions of his/her browser. In fact, Users may at any time deny their consent to the installation and use of navigation or session cookies, analytics cookies, functionality cookies. In particular, it is possible for the User to deny consent to the use of cookies and to deactivate them, in a simple and easy way, by operating through the configuration options of the browser used, by selecting the appropriate setting on your browser. Below we provide links explaining how to disable cookies for the most popular browsers:

-Internet Explorer http://windows.microsoft.com/it-IT/windows7/Block-enable-or-allow-cookies

-Google Chrome : https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647?hl=it-IT&p=cpn_cookies

-Mozilla Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/it/kb/Bloccare%20i%20cookie?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Blocking+cookies

-Apple Safari http://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/it/cookies/

Please note, however, that the continuation of navigation by accessing another area of the Site or by selecting an element of the Site (e.g. an image or a link) may entail the provision of consent to the use of cookies employed by the browser.

The Portal does NOT allow links to social networks, such as – by way of explanation and not limitation – Google+, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, through links to sites of such Third Parties, and does NOT allow links to sites of other Third Parties, which may possibly install profiling cookies.

We inform you, however, that even if the Portal were to “link” to other Sites, these could contain tracking systems to which the Owner of the Site is unrelated. The Owner therefore cannot guarantee that such external Sites are equipped with suitable security systems aimed at protecting the data processed and preventing damage (e.g. from computer viruses).

The Portal is structured on the WordPress platform.
